Firepit garden – Few things bring more enjoyment to an outdoor party or evening family reunion than a fire for roasting marshmallows or luminous tall tales and campfire skits. Backyard fire pits make this possible. Proper care in selecting a safe place and create an appropriate barrier around the fire area ensures years of fire-pit enjoyment.
Choose a site at least 15 meters from any wood or vinyl structure, preferably downwind of homes to avoid excessive smoke coming through the open windows. Select level ground away from the tree lines, brush or wood piles to prevent the spread of flames. Rake away any sticks, leaves or other debris in a radius of the desired firepit garden site 10-foot. Using shovel or spade, turning and breaking ground up in a circle around four meters in diameter in the middle of the blocked area. This will be the fire pit area.

Tamp the dirt turned until the firepit garden area is closely compacted and level. Place the granite rocks or landscaping bricks around the fire pit circle, then all rocks or bricks touch without gaps in between. This forms a protective wall around the fire pit, keep flames inside the pit area. If you use landscaping bricks, dig a level trench or use leveling sand to hold the bricks themselves. Build fire in the rock circle.
